About the position

ADP is hiring a Client Service & Product Support Specialist Tax. In this role, you will provide consistent, high-quality tax service to ADP clients. Your responsibilities will include tax deposits and filing, as well as serving as ADP's frontline for solving clients' challenges, including issue resolution, answering questions, and assisting clients through various communication channels such as phone, email, or chat. As a Client Service & Product Support Specialist, you will be expected to assist clients with tax deposits and filing, manage inquiries from state and federal agencies, and build relationships with clients to exceed their expectations in every interaction. You will leverage your knowledge of ADP products and services to provide solutions and recommendations for best practices and training. To succeed in this role, you should have at least two years of client service or call center experience, or a minimum of four years of experience in an insurance or financial institution. Your communication style should be clear and easy for clients to understand, and you must be proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. While a college degree is preferred, it is not required if you have the necessary skills and experience. Military experience is also valued, as it brings unique talents and problem-solving abilities to the table. Bonus points will be given for candidates with at least three years of payroll tax experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with tax deposits and filing.
  • Manage inquiries from state and federal agencies.
  • Help clients solve problems by taking a broad perspective to resolve issues and provide solutions.
  • Build relationships with clients using phone, email, and chat to exceed client expectations.
  • Leverage ADP product and services knowledge to provide solutions and help clients understand product value.
  • Turn client input into recommendations for ADP leadership on best practices and solutions training.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll and tax issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • At least two years of client service and/or call center experience OR a minimum of four years of experience in an insurance/financial institution.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both over the phone and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Military experience is recognized and valued.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least three years of payroll tax experience is preferred.
