About the position

The Client Service Representative I (CSR I) at United Business Bank is an entry-level position focused on providing essential banking services to clients. This role involves handling various transactions, assisting clients with their banking needs, and promoting the bank's products and services. The CSR I is expected to maintain accuracy in transactions and adhere to bank policies and regulatory guidelines while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of paying and receiving functions for clients in person, via phone, through the mail, and online banking.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers checks, stop payments, and wires.
• Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and checking account problems.
• Answer client questions regarding the bank's products and services.
• Actively cross-sell the bank's products and services.
• Perform specific assigned side-jobs including various clerical functions.
• Assist the Branch Manager and/or the Client Service Manager with other duties as assigned.
• Ensure all duties are performed accurately, timely, and efficiently according to bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-year cash handling or teller experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of Teller and Cash Handling Operations procedures.
• Basic understanding of banking products, services, and operations.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.
