The Client Service Representative at VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service during overnight shifts. The representative will be part of a dedicated team in a 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, contributing to a supportive and rewarding workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting visitors
  • Answering telephones
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
  • Answering questions regarding services and cost
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Compassion for pets and people
  • Proven decision-making skills
  • Ability to integrate new information into problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Exposure to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste
