About the position
VCA Webb Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join their team. This role is crucial in delivering excellent service to clients and their pets, ensuring that the hospital operates smoothly and efficiently. The Client Service Representative will be the first point of contact for clients, setting the tone for their experience and helping to build trust and confidence in the hospital's services.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and answer telephones, guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of time.
- Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reach out to prospective clients.
- Present and explain fees, processing payments accurately.
- Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
- Educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
- Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain the hospital's cleanliness, including the removal of animal waste.
Requirements
- Experience in client services, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of animal care and husbandry.
Nice-to-haves
