About the position

The Client Service Representative at Compeer Financial plays a crucial role in supporting various lending programs by providing high-quality client service to both internal and external clients. This position focuses on transaction analysis, documentation, systems accounting, reporting, monitoring, and overall client support throughout the loan/lease cycles, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients and third parties.
  • Provide exceptional service to all clients, ensuring a consistent experience aligned with Compeer's mission and vision.
  • Educate clients and team members on policies, processes, and transactional delivery.
  • Coordinate and track the compilation of documents needed for transactions.
  • Review and determine documents needed to perfect Compeer's required lien position on short-term transactions.
  • Accurately process receipts, disbursements, and maintenance to client accounts.
  • Scan and index documents into the archival system.
  • Prepare and deliver a variety of legal documents to clients in a timely manner to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Assist financial officers in determining appropriate client products and delivery tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; secondary education preferred.
  • 0-5 years of client service experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • General knowledge of farming operations and agriculture is preferred.
  • General knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong focus on client service.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office applications and/or other systems needed for the role.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and situations.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with team members.

Nice-to-haves
