About the position

The Client Service Specialist role at BambooHR is designed to provide exceptional customer service and support to clients navigating various HR functions such as hiring, performance management, and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Provide world class customer service via phone, email, and chat communications with clients
  • Uphold and contribute to a brand of setting people free to do great work
  • Develop an understanding of how information connects in BambooHR products to quickly navigate to the core of client issues
  • Guide clients in BambooHR performance management, time-tracking, onboarding, and applicant tracking systems
  • Quickly think on your feet to work through complex questions and come up with creative solutions
  • Be proactive in working independently while also thriving in a team-based environment
  • Keep up to date on new features and products to maximize value for clients

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of prior relevant customer service or technical troubleshooting experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication with clients and co-workers
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to break down complex problems and explain them clearly
  • Articulate and concise in both written and oral English communication (typing 40+ words per minute)
  • Strong resiliency and the ability to work past difficult situations

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HR software or systems
  • Familiarity with performance management and applicant tracking systems
