About the position

The Client Services Administrator (CSA) position at Crane Financial Group is essential for optimizing the advisor's time and enhancing client service operations. This part-time role involves managing client requests, maintaining client information, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations within the financial services practice.

Responsibilities

  • Handles incoming telephone calls to Crane Financial Group and responds to requests for information
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, and coordinates special projects
  • Oversees projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as needed
  • Drives client-facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with clients
  • Updates Salesforce with client contact and preference information
  • Assists Lead Advisors with preparation and follow-up for client meetings
  • Attends client meetings and takes notes to ensure all follow-up tasks, meeting notes, and next steps are properly documented and actioned on
  • Researches products, product pricing, and contacts carriers for information
  • Answers basic questions for clients
  • Fills out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts and completes applications to the point of signature for advisors to finalize and approve
  • Sets up and retrieves reports in the portfolio management system
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor

Requirements

  • Securities, finance, or insurance industry experience preferred
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
  • Basic understanding of Thrivent Financial's products and services
