About the position

The Client Services Coordinator at Meaningful Day Services plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by managing communications, referrals, and administrative tasks. This full-time position emphasizes a family-friendly and inclusive work culture, aiming to enhance the independence of clients through quality services and effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Answer a multi-line phone system and monitor the general voicemail box, distributing messages among departments.
  • Correspond with families and take referrals for all departments through various methods, completing department referral tracking.
  • Manage direct communication and onboarding of referrals, including obtaining client documents and scheduling intakes and evaluations.
  • Support departments by maintaining client appointments, correspondence, attendance records, and policy implementation.
  • Maintain rapport with service team members and act as a resource for services within the company.
  • Collect and upload documentation as necessary, including processing medical records requests from outside entities.
  • Assist in problem-solving concerns regarding policy implementation and effectiveness related to client coordination.
  • Act as a liaison between referrals, clients, client families, client team members, and leadership.
  • Assist with insurance-related client needs such as benefits verification, authorizations, and appeals.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the leadership team or supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 21 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance with specified bodily injury and liability limits.

Nice-to-haves

  • Administrative experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
