About the position

The Client Services Representative at TypTap Management Company is responsible for processing changes requested by agents and clients while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting with policies and claims from various insurance companies and requires applicants to be located in Florida. The position offers flexible shifts and emphasizes the importance of collaboration and team building through quarterly in-office attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Processes endorsements and policy changes forwarded by agents and policyholders.
  • Responds to client questions and concerns.
  • Prepares quotes, endorsements, cancellations, and payments.
  • Keeps detailed records of transactions within multiple policy management systems.
  • Handles First Notice of Loss calls.
  • Provides assistance to sister companies and other departments during CAT (catastrophe) events.
  • Updates industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

Requirements

  • Clear, concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and professional.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of Homeowners insurance is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or closely related field preferred.
  • 20-44 or 2-20 Insurance License must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
