Our Client Solutions team is dedicated to delivering innovative, collaborative, and personalized services to the top players in the media ecosystem. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Solutions Engineer who will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve their business goals through technical scoping, industry expertise, and custom solutions. This position is pivotal in building long-term relationships within the industry and ensuring that our clients can effectively utilize our advanced advertising capabilities. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be tasked with developing creative and pioneering solutions to the business challenges faced by the world's largest media companies. Your role will involve working closely with various teams across the organization, leveraging your technical communication skills, passion for media and big data, and business acumen to create complex solutions that will power the future of television. Your contributions will take many forms, including proof of concepts (POCs), demos, and large multi-faceted SaaS deployments. You will have the opportunity to work directly on innovative products for content delivery and monetization that are transforming the way media is consumed globally. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to our clients, providing technical guidance on optimizing the usage of our platform. You will execute implementation projects aimed at increasing product usage through new integrations and product rollouts. Additionally, you will analyze business needs and technical feasibility for clients based on their current technology architecture, developing and documenting strategic, cost-effective business and technical solutions. Your involvement in the product release cycle will include requirements gathering and articulating technical solutions during the presales process, ensuring that customer business requirements are effectively translated into actionable plans. You will also maintain well-updated documentation of clients' technology architecture and assist in preparing materials for client renewal opportunities, product upsells, and business reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical guidance on optimizing the usage of our platform on a day-to-day basis with clients.
  • Executing implementation projects to grow clients' product usage through new integrations and product rollouts.
  • Analyzing business needs and technical feasibility for clients based on current technology architecture, and developing and documenting strategic, cost-effective business and technical solutions.
  • Participating in the product release cycle through requirements gathering.
  • Articulating technical solutions during the presales process and translating business requirements directly from customers.
  • Capturing technical details of client-specific implementations and maintaining this information within well-updated documentation of clients' technology architecture.
  • Assisting in the preparation of materials for client renewal opportunities, product upsells, business reviews, and account plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the advertising and media industry.
  • Experience working in advertising technology or a related SaaS role.
  • Experience in a sales engineering or similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience connecting SaaS platforms with 3rd party technology vendors.
  • Proficiency in SQL or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, HTML5, XML, etc.
  • Experience developing against RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with IAB standards including VAST and openRTB.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to inform business decisions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent BI software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications in advertising.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising metrics and analytics.
