The Client Solutions Manager at White Construction Company (WCC) is a pivotal role focused on driving business development initiatives in the Houston market. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong legacy in commercial and high-end residential construction. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance brand recognition, identify new opportunities, and manage client relationships, all while contributing to the company's strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Development Efforts to enhance brand recognition in the Houston market.
  • Work with Houston leadership to align business development activities with the annual 'Go To Market' Plan.
  • Research and strategize on potential public and private sector opportunities.
  • Stay informed on local and regional market trends to guide company planning and objectives.
  • Participate in regular business development meetings to track progress and adjust strategies.
  • Utilize CRM software (UnaNet) to manage client interactions and opportunities effectively.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to understand competitive positioning and leverage insights.
  • Represent WCC in strategic professional organizations and industry events.
  • Help lead the effort to build WCC's brand in Houston through marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and qualifications, ensuring compliance and responsiveness to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Develop compelling written content and provide editorial support for proposals.
  • Assist with recruiting and interviewing of select job candidates in the Houston office.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and identify business opportunities.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably UnaNet.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in commercial construction or high-end residential projects.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
  • Previous involvement in proposal writing and content development.
