About the position

The Client Success Manager, Automotive position at Gannett is responsible for leading the execution of digital marketing campaigns for clients in the automotive sector. This role focuses on understanding client objectives and delivering tailored marketing solutions to maximize return on investment. The manager will oversee campaign performance, ensure client satisfaction, and drive account retention through effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfillment of all digital advertising product orders for assigned accounts
  • Hands-on management and optimization of PPC search campaigns
  • Proactive monitoring and optimization of all campaigns with direct communication with product delivery teams
  • Lead creative development process in collaboration with client success, sales, and design teams
  • Drive campaign ROI and suggest new solutions to assist the sales team in growing accounts
  • Proactively manage relationships with key internal and external vendors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues using best practices
  • Assist with the management of client expectations and communication of performance metrics
  • Develop account-specific value story by leveraging insights into a cohesive campaign performance report

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing solutions including SEM, Social, Display, Email, and SEO
  • Ability to manage day-to-day campaign performance and optimization
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to assess and improve marketing campaigns
  • Ability to effectively present findings to clients
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing online/digital advertising campaigns, especially Google Ads
  • 2+ years of client service/account management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as Business, Marketing, or Advertising

  • Experience with ad management, billing, and workflow management
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management
  • Excellent listening skills
