About the position

The Client Success Manager at Rhombus Power is responsible for managing the delivery of complex enterprise AI software deployments for a contract with the US Navy. This role requires a strong track record in driving business value for Department of Defense (DoD) customers, with expertise in application development, artificial intelligence, and data integration. The manager will work closely with customer stakeholders to define use cases, translate them into specifications, and oversee technical teams to ensure successful outcomes. The position demands a combination of strategic consulting, project management, and technical skills to facilitate customer success and adoption of AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to craft compelling use cases that drive business value.
  • Translate use cases into requirements and specifications, validating tractability and defining data requirements for AI use cases.
  • Quantify and track value metrics from Rhombus Power's enterprise AI software.
  • Advise executive customer stakeholders on future use case roadmap and implementation plans.
  • Turn business requirements into application features and capabilities, mapping use cases to granular team tasks.
  • Lead the engagement team to perform implementation activities in collaboration with various Rhombus Power team members.
  • Dive into technical details to ensure successful delivery to customers, including functional scoping and quality assurance.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, remove obstacles, and track and address risks before they become issues.
  • Develop high-quality internal and external deliverables and documentation to enable customer success.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, defining and interpreting AI results in their business context.
  • Provide oversight to the data science team to ensure compelling outcomes.
  • Provide monthly status reports and communicate program successes and issues to reflect performance against standards.
  • Ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the life cycle.
  • Represent the program and client in interactions with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a similar field; Advanced Engineering degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years delivery management experience with enterprise solutions.
  • Experience leading engagements with substantial exposure to data science, cloud infrastructure, solution architecture, application development, and data engineering.
  • Credible customer presence, capable of stepping into a trusted advisor role.
  • Data-driven, analytically oriented, with a commitment to process improvement.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and work with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to enforce good project governance and promote delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate between business and technical domains of a software implementation project.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior leadership experience with US Navy Plans and Policy Directorate (N5) is highly desired.
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance (TS/SCI) is highly preferred.
