About the position

The Client Success Manager at WPAS, Inc. is responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing business accounts while assisting in the acquisition of new clients. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that meet clients' benefit plan needs, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of the client relationship within the WPAS, Inc. organization with limited supervision.
  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned Plans and Groups and effectively apply knowledge.
  • Implement client requirements and changes in benefit programs.
  • Facilitate all client meetings, including agenda preparation and meeting notes.
  • Review and approve client financial statements, Summary Plan Descriptions, benefit communications, and other client documents.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability of clients to ensure company financial goals are met.
  • Recommend and obtain client fee increases and prepare contracts and amendments.
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
  • Maintain effective communications and working relationships with clients, management, staff, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, employers, and consultants.
  • Help develop staff long-term through performance management, goal setting, training, and effective employee relations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third-party and partner companies necessary for delivering full solutions to customers.
  • Coordinate activities with the New Business Team to identify, acquire, implement, and transition non-WPAS entities into the WPAS Book-of-Business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal and group presentation skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-caliber results.
  • Ability to understand complex situations and effectively resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relationship management role, preferably in an insurance, benefits, or TPA environment.
