About the position

The Client Success Manager at Gannett will lead the execution of digital campaigns for clients, ensuring a positive client experience and successful campaign results. This role involves collaborating with sales staff to advise clients on leveraging marketing solutions to meet their business objectives, managing client relationships, and overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies. The position is focused on maximizing client satisfaction, revenue, and account retention through effective campaign management and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with client representatives through routine interactions.
  • Develop and advise on marketing strategies by understanding client expectations and identifying opportunities.
  • Lead the creative development process to ensure optimized messaging and advertising assets.
  • Proactively manage relationships with internal and external vendors to meet deliverables.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and create innovative solutions for clients.
  • Drive campaign ROI and assist the sales team in growing accounts.
  • Manage client expectations, communication, and performance metrics.
  • Incorporate evolving technologies into the client solution delivery process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing online/digital advertising campaigns.
  • 3+ years of client service/account management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in client relationship management.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day campaign performance and assess trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated expertise with USA Today Network marketing solutions, systems, and processes.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to assess and improve marketing campaigns.
