About the position

Whirks is seeking a full-time Client Success Payroll Specialist to manage client accounts, process payroll, and serve as the primary contact for payroll and software inquiries. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to a growing client base, ensuring accuracy in payroll processing, and fostering long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for helping small businesses succeed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client accounts and input payroll data.
• Cut payroll checks and generate payroll reports.
• Respond to client inquiries via calls and emails within two hours, aiming to resolve issues within 24 hours.
• Process payroll with a focus on 100% accuracy, monitoring and validating payroll runs.
• Communicate payroll status quickly and accurately to clients and internally.
• Troubleshoot payroll problems in real-time as needed.
• Encourage long-lasting relationships with clients and understand the impact of service quality on client satisfaction.
• Attend training opportunities to enhance knowledge of products and services.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with clients to assist with additional training and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in customer service or technical support.
• Strong technical skills and ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
• Exceptional attitude and ability to work effectively in a client-focused environment.
• Desire to learn and grow in payroll, HR, and benefits management.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry-specific payroll experience is preferred but not required.
