About the position

The Client Support Associate role at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) focuses on providing essential support to the Employee Health & Benefits team. This position involves coordinating client service requests, ensuring effective communication within the agency, and maintaining a customer service-oriented approach. The associate will work under the guidance of a Client Manager or Consultant, engaging in problem-solving and providing advice on policies and regulations while handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate information for client service requests and provide it to the client team for prompt responses.
  • Engage in communication with individuals both inside and outside the organization.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and basic math knowledge.
  • Familiarize with accounting principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Attend in-house and external meetings/events as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Prior experience within the insurance industry.
