About the position

The Client Testing Lead is a strategic professional responsible for overseeing the testing processes within the Client Implementation Testing function at Citi. This role involves significant interaction with various stakeholders, including technology project managers and clients, to ensure the successful execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product rollouts. The position requires a strong understanding of IT quality, testing processes, and the Systems Development Lifecycle, with a focus on delivering complex testing solutions for major client onboarding initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Performs functional, automation, and regression testing related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product rollout into production.
  • Works with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement testing strategies and plans.
  • Conducts complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments.
  • Follows industry quality trends and applies them to the current environment as appropriate.
  • Interacts with various levels of management to communicate technology-level process changes.
  • Ensures project standards and procedures are documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Monitors products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures, identifying risks as necessary.
  • Documents findings and performs root cause analyses, recommending solutions and improvements to existing standards and procedures.
  • Collaborates with other areas in technology to develop new standards and procedures.
  • Ensures all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed.
  • Verifies traceability in project work products and gathers, maintains, and reports on quality metrics.
  • Acts as an advisor and mentor for junior team members.
  • Analyzes requirements and executes tests, documenting testing requirements and processes to ensure QA policies and standards are met.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in an IT Quality role.
  • Ability to work independently or within groups on assigned projects.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of IT Quality and the industry.
  • Strong understanding of testing processes and the Systems Development Lifecycle.
  • Solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management.
  • Demonstrated confidence in abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with client-facing responsibilities and coordinating complex testing solutions.
