About the position

The Nonfinancial Reporting Assurance & Advisory Manager at EY will play a pivotal role in the Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team, focusing on helping businesses and governments navigate societal, environmental, and economic challenges. This position involves developing nonfinancial disclosures, establishing corporate governance risk disclosures, and leading fieldwork to manage performance and audit engagements. The role requires collaboration across multiple service lines and regular client interaction, with a travel requirement of up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Developing nonfinancial disclosures, integrated annual reports, and other communications.
  • Establishing corporate governance risk disclosures.
  • Collecting and collating nonfinancial data to support management reporting and external disclosures.
  • Developing internal and external reporting strategies, including identifying KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Leading fieldwork, managing performance, and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in an accounting, finance, or business discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years' work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm.
  • US CPA licensure in your work state.
  • A proven track record of successfully assisting businesses in understanding key climate change and sustainability issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
  • Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior consulting experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Relevant professional qualifications.
  • Specific knowledge and interest in several industries impacted by sustainability issues.
