About the position

Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for a therapist/QMHP to work on the Family & Youth team providing mental health services to youth and their families in a combination of part time community and part time clinic setting. Duties will include engagement, crisis support, diagnoses, direct treatment, performing integrated behavioral health assessments, service planning and implementation, individual and family therapy, case management, outreach/consultation for a small caseload of youth/families with intensive mental health/behavioral health needs. Work schedule is flexible so as to meet family needs. We are actively working on being a trauma-informed agency. This position provides a great opportunity for professional development and advancement in clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited school in social work, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field
  • For Behavioral Health Clinician: One year of experience as a Human Services Specialist I or equivalent experience
  • Must qualify as QMHP to work in respective fields
  • For Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician: Three years' post-master's experience and active professional license in Oregon as a QMHP

Nice-to-haves

  • Training and experience in evidence-based practices
  • Experience providing intensive mental health and addictions services in a community-based setting
  • Fluency in Spanish and English with competency to provide bilingual/bicultural clinical services
  • Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
