About the position

The Clinic Manager at Hanger Clinic in Puyallup, WA, is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality prosthetic and orthotic care. This role involves managing a team of practitioners, technicians, and administrative staff to achieve financial and clinical goals while maintaining patient satisfaction and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage practice operations to ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly goals for sales, revenues, cash, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain quality assurance programs to ensure patient satisfaction with practice services.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing plans to develop and enhance referral sources and expand revenue opportunities.
  • Manage practice expenses and materials to meet or exceed budget projections.
  • Ensure adherence to bloodborne pathogen, OSHA requirements, and other safety and governmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Hanger's Compliance Program and Code of Professional and Business Ethics by all employees.
  • Provide resources and incentives for practice employees to meet expectations.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation records are maintained by all practitioners.
  • Provide direct patient care service for the treatment of Orthotic and/or Prosthetic conditions as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
  • A valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure where required.
  • Five years' experience in the field.
