About the position

The Clinic Manager for the Kidney Acquisition at Keck Medical Center of USC is responsible for overseeing the quality of patient care, operational efficiency, and human resources management within the transplant program. This role requires 24-hour accountability and aims to enhance patient experience while ensuring compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. The Clinic Manager will lead clinical operations, manage staff, and drive business development initiatives to foster strategic partnerships and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Hold 24-hour accountability for patient care quality and operational efficiency.
  • Manage all clinical operations of the Kidney Transplant Program under the direction of the Transplant Director and Administrator.
  • Supervise clinical staff and oversee operations of patient care programs.
  • Direct nursing practice, education, and services for transplant patients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards regarding patient care.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures for the department.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and feedback to staff.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Attend outreach events to drive revenue and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage program marketing and brand development across multiple channels.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications.
  • 2 years of experience in managing clinical operations in a healthcare setting.
  • 1 year of experience in Kidney Transplant management.
  • Excellent people management skills and ability to motivate staff.
  • Strong decision-making skills and high frustration tolerance.
  • Experience in process improvement and progressive leadership in a Transplant Program.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of experience in an acute or ambulatory setting.
  • Experience managing a multi-specialty clinic.
  • Nurse Practitioner license in lieu of Physician Assistant license.
  • Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification.
