About the position

The Clinic Manager at Genesis Health System is responsible for providing leadership and overall administration of clinical services at the Bettendorf Medical Center. The Clinic Manager also focuses on staff development, performance improvement strategies, and enhancing patient service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the GHG Clinics.
• Oversee planning, direction, and administration of clinical services.
• Implement the vision, mission, philosophy, and standards of Genesis Health System.
• Meet budgetary guidelines within the department.
• Encourage leadership development and decision-making among staff.
• Consult and advise on planning and coordinating patient and non-patient care activities.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaborative relationships.
• Evaluate outcome data using critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Design and implement performance improvement strategies based on data.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
• Train and mentor staff.
• Develop and monitor budgets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agents.
• Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain positive and effective practitioner relations.
• Assess and develop new programs to enhance patient service and community involvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Care Administration.
• More than 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Leadership training and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management software.
