As a Medical Assistant at our WestGlen GI Practice, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with patient care and performing various clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management, ensuring that patients receive the information they need to fully utilize and benefit from the clinic's services. Your role will also involve conveying a positive image of the organization, which is essential in maintaining our commitment to quality care and community service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with patient care and clerical tasks.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants or Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
  • Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.
  • 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred.
