We are a mid-sized Prosthetic and Orthotic clinic searching for a responsible and dependable Clinic Office Administrator for our Fort Myers, FL office. This is an entry-level, full-time position with office hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and to provide excellent service to our patients. The Clinic Office Administrator will be responsible for greeting patients in a courteous and compassionate manner, verifying that they have completed all necessary paperwork, and scheduling appointments. Additionally, the administrator will manage a multi-line switchboard telephone system, ensuring that all calls are answered promptly and professionally. The position requires a basic understanding of medical billing and coding, as the administrator will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and generating and obtaining medical documentation. The role also includes scanning and filing documentation, ordering devices for patients, and ensuring compliant and timely patient care.
