About the position

The Clinic Operations Analyst position at DirectEmployers is a vital role that supports the operational efficiency of the Western Carolina Physician Practices. This position is designed for an individual who can assist in developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that align with the strategic plan and vision of the organization. The analyst will work closely with the Market Director and Clinic Managers to monitor trends and identify new opportunities that can enhance clinic operations. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for monitoring clinic workflows and reporting on clinic productivity. This includes assisting in various projects and software roll-outs as needed, ensuring that the clinics operate smoothly and efficiently. The analyst will also monitor departmental budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing departmental contracts, and maintaining vendor relations. A key aspect of this position is to assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinate patient care services among patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. The Clinic Operations Analyst will create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth among staff members. This includes integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care are met. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Support the Market Director and Clinic Managers in operational tasks.
  • Monitor trends and identify new opportunities for clinic improvement.
  • Oversee clinic workflows and report on productivity metrics.
  • Assist in projects and software roll-outs as needed to enhance clinic operations.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage departmental contracts and maintain vendor relations.
  • Determine and justify needs for systems, equipment, and supplies purchases.
  • Monitor usage and oversee the proper working order of supplies and equipment.
  • Assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinate services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Create an environment that encourages professional growth among staff.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in applicable field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment are essential.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
  • Working knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 Procedure Codes is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary; working knowledge of Athena software is preferred.
  • Licenses such as CMA, LPN, or RN are preferred.
