About the position

The Clinic Operations Coordinator at Boys Town National Research Hospital plays a crucial role in managing the operational functions of pediatric and specialty clinics. This position involves overseeing budgets, financial data, and administrative support to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develops operating and capital budgets in collaboration with clinical directors.
  • Monitors and evaluates financial/operational data for accuracy, identifying trends and predicting resource needs.
  • Identifies and evaluates business and reimbursement strategies for financial effectiveness.
  • Assists with itineraries for new provider interviews and facilitates onboarding and orientation schedules.
  • Provides administrative support to clinical directors, including purchase requisitions and payments.
  • Participates in BTNRH committee meetings relevant to hospital operations.
  • Initiates and maintains professional business relationships with vendors for building and maintenance projects.
  • Implements Blanket Orders in conjunction with accounting.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and recommends strategies to improve business and operational clinic functions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or certification in business or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or relevant experience in a healthcare setting required.
