About the position

ProHealth Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Allergy & Immunology team. This part-time role involves delivering patient-centered care across multiple clinic locations, including Hartland, Brookfield, and Big Bend Road. The RN will work closely with experienced physicians and healthcare professionals to manage patients with various allergic and immunologic conditions, providing an opportunity to make a direct impact on patient health.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver appropriate nursing care and procedures in the clinic setting.
• Support the practice of physicians and physician assistants in the Allergy department.
• Act as a professional clinical resource for Medical Assistants, Clinic LPNs, and other ancillary professionals.
• Perform nursing acts delegated by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.
• Gather data and assess patient needs.
• Triage walk-in and call-in patients to the appropriate healthcare provider.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care clinic environment or 3-5 years of clinical hospital, home care, or community health experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a specialty department, particularly in Allergy & Immunology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient education and support.
• Experience administering immunizations and vaccinations.
