About the position

The Clinic Site Manager at Neighborhood Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the healthcare site, ensuring efficient systems are in place, staff training is adequate, and financial performance is optimized. This role involves implementing quality care systems, monitoring patient experiences, and managing site productivity to enhance patient flow and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, organizes, and shares data for continual quality improvement of operations.
  • Maintains awareness of factors affecting patient experience, including personnel interactions.
  • Directs and motivates stakeholders to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Monitors site and department expenses to maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyzes financial information and resolves discrepancies in costs.
  • Conducts performance reviews for direct reports and provides counseling as needed.
  • Implements organization policies and procedures for the site.
  • Monitors site productivity and recommends changes to improve patient show rates and flow.
  • Communicates regularly with clinical and operational leaders to resolve site-specific issues.
  • Facilitates monthly site operations meetings and maintains records of discussions.
  • Participates in monthly operations meetings to review audit results and track issues.
  • Tracks and reconciles all encounters for the billing department.
  • Monitors daily cash receipts and resolves discrepancies.
  • Manages support staff and oversees hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Ensures effective service delivery to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinates with specialty coordinators to monitor specialty services effectiveness.
  • Fosters communication and team building among staff to enhance satisfaction.
  • Assesses training needs and promotes developmental activities.
  • Conducts department meetings to promote communication and teamwork.
  • Evaluates staff performance and provides guidance for development.
  • Keeps staff informed of organizational activities and promotes mission and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including typing and proofreading.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions in different formats.
  • Knowledge of various payer sources, such as Medi-Cal and Medi-Caid, preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

  • Project Leap completion preferred.
  • Knowledgeable about various payer sources.
