About the position

The Clinic Supervisor at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital is responsible for overseeing clinic staff and ensuring the implementation of department policies and procedures related to patient care. This role involves providing guidance, managing schedules, and ensuring staff competencies are maintained. The supervisor also plays a key role in staff training, performance evaluation, and aligning clinic goals with the hospital's mission and strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and oversight to clinic staff by implementing department policies and procedures.
  • Exemplify good customer service and demonstrate competence in clinical duties.
  • Assist clinic staff with direct patient care when needed.
  • Review errors in EPIC with clinical staff and provide remedial training as required.
  • Manage clinical employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Ensure annual staff competencies, licensures, and certifications are up to date.
  • Coordinate appropriate education for staff on processes, supplies, and equipment.
  • Orient new clinical employees following hospital onboarding protocols.
  • Assist with interviewing and hiring of clinical employees, and evaluate their job performance.
  • Review and revise clinical policies and procedures as needed.
  • Assist manager with coordinating clinic meetings and lead daily morning huddles.
  • Align clinic, staff, and personal goals with the hospital's mission and strategic plan.
  • Identify KPIs for process improvement and work with staff to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain a dashboard for quality review and participate in hospital-based meetings.

Requirements

  • 2 years of clinic experience preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required.
  • Critical thinking, conflict resolution, organization, and effective judgment abilities required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or other healthcare-related program.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current Nursing License in the state of Indiana preferred but not required.
  • Applicable licensing for ATC, OTC, PT, OT, LPN, or CMA.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • BLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
