About the position

The Clinical Account Executive (CAE) role at Johnson & Johnson's Biosense division is focused on increasing market share growth in targeted accounts within a 12-month period. The CAE will provide technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers, ensuring the successful adoption of the CARTO® 3 System and other BWI products. This position requires extensive travel and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives and enhance customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market share growth in targeted accounts within a 12-month period.
  • Train local Clinical Account Specialists (CAS) after account conversion for seamless transition.
  • Provide technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers.
  • Achieve key business metrics by executing the company's strategies and tactics.
  • Build and maintain relationships in non-Biosense Webster accounts to increase market share of BWI products.
  • Partner with Territory Managers and Program Manager to align activities with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute an account business plan in collaboration with Marketing and Area Director.
  • Assess customer needs and establish an adoption plan for CARTO® 3 System.
  • Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab Staff.
  • Educate customers on BWI products and optimize effective usage through training.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities using consultative selling techniques.
  • Maximize customer case support capability through planning and scheduling.
  • Drive collaboration and maintain communication with local team and support staff.
  • Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues.
  • Grow customer relationships within and beyond the EP lab, including physicians and hospital staff.
  • Stay current on company products and relevant scientific literature.
  • Maintain composure and problem-solving focus during stressful interactions.
  • Mentor new BWI commercial team members as requested.
  • Manage account documentation, compliance training, and expense reporting.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of relevant professional/military work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical or technical work experience in a patient care or hospital environment, OR completion of the Company's ACAS program.
  • Proven track record of building business and increasing market share through commercial execution.
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging, and technical knowledge of EP technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.
  • Experience with complex technical systems in a critical patient care setting.
  • Effective communicator with co-workers and patient care team.
  • Self-starter who performs well with autonomy in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem solver who can think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
  • Hunger for learning and building new skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive base pay range of $96,000 to $149,500.
