About the position

The Clinical Account Executive (CAE) for Biosense Webster at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for driving market share growth and providing technical and clinical support for healthcare providers. This role involves extensive travel, collaboration with various teams, and the execution of business strategies to enhance the adoption of BWI products, particularly the CARTO® 3 System. The CAE will also train local Clinical Account Specialists and ensure a seamless transition post-account conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market share growth in targeted accounts within a 12-month period.
  • Provide technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers.
  • Train local Clinical Account Specialists after account conversion.
  • Partner with Marketing and Area Director to develop and execute an account business plan.
  • Assess customer needs and establish an adoption plan for CARTO® 3 System.
  • Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab Staff.
  • Educate customers on BWI products and optimize effective usage.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities using consultative selling techniques.
  • Maximize customer case support capability through proper planning and scheduling.
  • Drive collaboration and maintain communication across assigned responsibilities.
  • Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the EP lab.
  • Stay current on company products and relevant scientific literature.
  • Mentor new BWI commercial team members as requested.
  • Perform administrative work including managing account documentation and compliance training.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of relevant professional/military work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical or technical work experience in a patient care or hospital environment, OR completion of the Company's ACAS program.
  • Proven track record of building business and increasing market share through commercial execution.
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging, and technical knowledge of EP technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.
  • Experience working with highly complex technical systems in a critical patient care setting.
  • Effective communicator with co-workers and patient care teams.
  • Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and flexibility.
  • Problem solver who can think critically in high-pressure environments.
