About the position

The Clinical Account Executive (CAE) role at Johnson & Johnson's Biosense Webster division is focused on driving market share growth for innovative medical technologies in targeted accounts. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, as the CAE will provide clinical product support, train healthcare providers, and develop strategic business plans to enhance the adoption of the CARTO® 3 System and other BWI products. The role involves significant travel and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives and ensure seamless transitions post-account conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market share growth in targeted accounts within a 12-month period.
  • Train local Clinical Account Specialists (CAS) after account conversion.
  • Provide technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers.
  • Achieve key business metrics by executing company strategies and tactics.
  • Build and maintain relationships in non-Biosense Webster accounts.
  • Partner with Territory Managers and Program Manager to align activities with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute an account business plan with Marketing and Area Director.
  • Assess customer needs and establish an adoption plan for CARTO® 3 System.
  • Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance during case procedures.
  • Educate customers on BWI products and optimize their usage.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities using consultative selling techniques.
  • Maximize customer case support through planning and scheduling.
  • Drive collaboration and maintain communication with local teams and partners.
  • Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues.
  • Grow customer relationships within and beyond the EP lab.
  • Stay current on product instructions, best practices, and scientific literature.
  • Respond to requests from customers and manage account documentation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of relevant professional/military work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical or technical work experience in a patient care or hospital environment, OR completion of the Company's ACAS program.
  • Proven track record of building business and increasing market share through commercial execution.
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging.
  • Technical knowledge of EP technology and the business landscape.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.
  • Experience with complex technical systems in critical patient care settings.
  • Effective communicator with all levels of patient care team.
  • Self-starter who performs well with autonomy.
  • Problem solver in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
  • Hunger for learning and building new skills.
