About the position

The Clinical Affairs Operations Intern at Exact Sciences is responsible for providing administrative support to project teams involved in clinical trials. This full-time internship opportunity for Summer 2025 focuses on assisting with clinical study start-up and close-out activities, data collection, and independent project work that benefits the Clinical Affairs department. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a purpose-driven environment dedicated to improving cancer detection and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical study start-up activities related to site selection and study site documentation preparation.
• Collect and track study data.
• Support clinical study close-out activities, including filing study documentation and coordinating off-site documentation storage.
• Work independently on a project that benefits the Clinical Affairs department, with the outcome presented to the Clinical Affairs team.
• Organize, present, and convey problems or issues effectively.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the life sciences or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email (preferably Outlook).
