About the position

The Clinical Analyst Coordinator-EPIC at Southcoast Health is a fully remote position that involves supporting clinical systems and end users. The role focuses on analyzing workflows, assessing system needs, planning and testing systems, coordinating with personnel, training end-users, and troubleshooting during system implementation and maintenance. The position requires participation in an on-call rotation and aims to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery through effective use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of workflow and assess system needs and requirements.
• Plan, design, and test systems and interfaces.
• Coordinate work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel.
• Train end-users as required.
• Document and troubleshoot work involved in systems implementation and maintenance.
• Act as a liaison to physicians and clinical area end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or ancillary clinical discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
• Experience supporting Meditech and/or other healthcare information systems required.
• Five (5) years MIS and/or clinical experience, including three (3) years in a similar and related position required.
• Must obtain Epic certification within 6 weeks of completing training classes.
• PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical/programming experience preferred, but not required.
• CPHMIS or ANA Nursing Informatics Certification preferred.
• Epic Ambulatory Certified and/or MyChart certified preferred.
