About The Position

The Clinical Applications Specialist for General Imaging Ultrasound at GE Healthcare is responsible for driving clinical education training and demonstration strategies. This role supports the customer experience and commercial teams throughout the sales process, ensuring effective outcome-based education and training solutions that enhance productivity, patient care, and quality. The position requires extensive travel and focuses on optimizing technical and clinical competencies in ultrasound imaging.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent and 3+ years of Ultrasound technical/clinical industry experience.
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast or RVT; Adult Cardiac and MSK desired.
  • Demonstrated experience working on GE Healthcare GI systems.
  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.
  • Experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking, and IT.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hybrid training delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with competitive ultrasound products and market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales process by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound products.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective-based system training for customers, monitoring and reporting on training outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for General Imaging Ultrasound and act as a clinical liaison to the sales organization.
  • Penetrate competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence back to the business.
  • Advance new product features and clinical techniques, partnering with customers to develop training plans.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstrations and customer training.
  • Act as a focal point for modality/team, identifying customer satisfaction issues and assisting in escalations.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to standardize and optimize protocols and support clinical education initiatives.
  • Embrace and promote a hybrid training delivery mindset for customers.
  • Maintain well-written pre and post-training documentation in line with global guidance.
