About the position

The Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at Oklahoma State University is a full-time faculty position focused on educating future veterinarians while engaging in innovative teaching and collaborative research. Responsibilities

  • Educate and train veterinary students in small animal emergency and critical care.
  • Participate in collaborative research and scholarship activities.
  • Develop and support an internship or residency program.
  • Engage in consultation work outside the referral area as needed.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and educational support.

Requirements

  • D.V.M. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Residency training in small animal emergency and critical care medicine.
  • Certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency Critical Care (ACVECC) or the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ECVECC).
  • Eligibility for faculty licensure in Oklahoma.

Nice-to-haves

  • Candidates qualified to take the ACVECC or ECVECC certification examination.
