About the position

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination and treatment areas according to clinic standards.
• Complete patient rooming procedures including vital signs and data collection.
• Assist with Point of Care laboratory testing after competency training.
• Ensure accurate and clear documentation in patient records.
• Perform clerical activities and maintain supply orders as directed.
• Assist with scheduling follow-up care as ordered.
• Assist the medical imaging department with limited x-ray exams after competency training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Professional Certification from American Heart Association (AHA) within 60 days of hire.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies (preferred).
• 80 hours of initial training in radiation safety, positioning, and image review (preferred).
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from South Dakota Board of Nursing (preferred).
