About the position

The Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Georgia State University is a non-tenure-track role focused on teaching and developing experiential learning opportunities for undergraduate students. Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Criminal Justice and Criminology, both in-person and online.
  • Develop and coordinate experiential learning opportunities for students, including internships and capstone experiences.
  • Contribute to the core mission of the internship program and the undergraduate program in general.
  • Engage in service activities that support the department and university.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a substantively relevant field of study, or a J.D. is required.
  • University teaching experience is required.
  • ABD candidates may apply, but the degree must be completed by the start of employment.
