About the position

The Clinical Change Management Manager in Medical Informatics is responsible for overseeing the implementation and support of clinical information systems within Norton Healthcare. This role focuses on change management, training, and customer service to ensure effective communication and system adoption among users. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to develop and maintain implementation plans, facilitate user training, and promote optimal utilization of clinical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and contributes to the support and development of HCIS implementation plans including change management, group facilitation, training, and customer service.
  • Assists with the development of implementation plans for clinical information systems and proactively identifies and coordinates clinical change management programs.
  • Assists in the design and deployment of site-specific training programs that impact clinical information systems.
  • Maintains documentation that impacts the use of clinical information systems and site-specific policy/procedure changes.
  • Assists with prioritization of software enhancements and coordination of software configuration.
  • Promotes system adoption and utilization, providing positive customer service to issue resolution.
  • Evaluates changes to the system and reports requests for standardization, appropriateness, and impact.
  • Monitors and communicates the status of system changes and report requests.
  • Leads site-specific user group meetings to foster growth and optimum utilization of clinical information systems.
  • Ensures all super users are properly trained on the clinical information systems.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License.
