About the position

The position involves managing and supporting the implementation of Health Clinical Information Systems (HCIS), focusing on change management, training, and customer service. The role requires effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and utilization of clinical information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and contribute to the support and development of HCIS implementation plans.
• Assist with the development of implementation plans for clinical information systems.
• Proactively identify and coordinate clinical change management programs.
• Assist in the design and deployment of site-specific training programs.
• Maintain documentation impacting the use of clinical information systems and site-specific policy/procedure changes.
• Assist with prioritization of software enhancements and coordination of software configuration.
• Promote system adoption and utilization.
• Provide positive customer service for issue resolution and ensure issues are directed to the appropriate resource.
• Provide timely follow-up to corrections of identified deficiencies.
• Evaluate changes to the system and report requests for standardization, appropriateness, and impact.
• Monitor and communicate the status of system changes and report requests.
• Lead site-specific user group meetings to foster growth and optimum utilization of clinical information systems.
• Ensure user groups understand and follow standardization principles and guidelines.
• Ensure all super users are properly trained on clinical information systems and perform their mentor role.

Requirements

• Three years in a clinical setting
• Bachelor Degree
• Registered Nurse
