About The Position

The Clinical Consultant II, Enabling Technologies at Medtronic is responsible for providing clinical, technical, and product knowledge support to customers in the field. This role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering training, and ensuring the effective use of Medtronic's NeuroSurgery, Navigation, and Robotic Assisted Surgery products. The consultant will also coordinate technical support, perform system maintenance, and act as a liaison for customer service issues, all while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; or
  • Associate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.

Nice To Haves

  • RT and/or MRI certification
  • Prior experience with Image Guided Systems
  • Prior experience with MRI
  • Operating room experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical, technical, and product knowledge support to customers.
  • Build and maintain solid customer relationships and provide training at all levels.
  • Coordinate and support on-site installations with customers.
  • Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
  • Maintain system hardware and software to maximize performance and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Provide telephone clinical support to customers and fulfill software and service contract obligations.
  • Act as the primary customer liaison for repair and technical support issues.
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters related to technology-enabled procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify prospective new users for technology-enabled procedures.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows.
