About the position

The Clinical Coordinator, RN is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations within the department, ensuring efficient patient flow through coordination of admissions and transfers. This role involves delegating patient care tasks to appropriate personnel based on their skills and expertise, while also facilitating communication and coordination among anesthesia personnel, surgeons, nursing staff, and other team members. The Clinical Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the organization's mission and values in delivering high-quality patient care services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate departmental clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Manage admissions and transfers of patients within the department.
  • Delegate patient care responsibilities to appropriate personnel based on their skills and expertise.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among anesthesia personnel, surgeons, nursing staff, and other team members.
  • Support the mission and values of the organization in managing patient care services.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse licensure required.
  • National Certification in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate Nursing education required or completion of college courses in Nursing with required licensure/certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 4 years of nursing experience in a related area required.
  • Experience in clinical critical care (ICU/CCU) or surgical services preferred.
