Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking dedicated and passionate Clinical Counselors to provide essential ECRC Family Readiness Coordination Services to the Navy's Fleet and Family Support Programs (FFSPs). These services are designed to enhance the well-being of active duty personnel, retirees, civilians (OCONUS), and their families. The role involves implementing and evaluating established services and programs aimed at maximizing the well-being of these groups. The Clinical Counselor will be responsible for developing concepts, structures, processes, procedures, and practices to meet the objectives of the FFSPs. The primary mission of the FFSP is to assist commands in achieving operational readiness, superior performance, member retention, and ensuring a reasonable quality of life for military personnel and their families. The Clinical Counselor will provide non-medical counseling services, including assessments and short-term, solution-focused counseling, primarily through remote platforms such as MS Teams or telephonic contact. The position is remote but requires the counselor to be located within 100 miles of a Navy installation within the area of responsibility. Essential duties include conducting intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients, establishing individual treatment plans, and providing individual, couples, and group counseling. The counselor will also be responsible for immediate intervention and risk assessment, ensuring adequate referral and follow-up for cases presenting suicidal or homicidal risks, and maintaining accurate documentation of counseling services. Counselors must meet the standards of professional and ethical conduct as prescribed by their licensing board and demonstrate clinical competence through direct service experience. They will also be involved in crisis situations, providing sound professional judgment and ethical practice. The role requires participation in quality assurance procedures to ensure the safety and quality of clinical services provided. Overall, the Clinical Counselor plays a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of military personnel and their families, contributing to the overall mission of the Navy's Fleet and Family Support Programs.
