About the position

The Clinical Data Analyst position is a permanent, full-time role focused on managing and analyzing healthcare data. The role involves retrieving, preparing, and validating data from various clinical sources, as well as designing and implementing data models and visualizations. The analyst will support data analysis for both internal and external customers, ensuring data quality and addressing any concerns related to customer data management.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, prepare, validate, and gather metrics from clinical data sources
  • Design, implement, and validate data models, visualizations, and ingestion processes
  • Support preparing and reviewing data analyses for internal and external customers
  • Run reports, prepare and validate data, and ingest data from customer systems
  • Monitor customer data, recommend and implement remediations where appropriate
  • Address customer data quality concerns
  • Support incident responses and change management processes related to customer data management
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and reporting customer data quality metrics and statistics
  • Analyze, document, and verify new data sources

Requirements

  • Experience working with healthcare data and electronic medical records
  • Ability to extract healthcare data from legacy systems using various methods (APIs, web scraping, data feeds)
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Experience with Looker and BigQuery
  • Python programming skills
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting tools
