About the position

As a Project Manager at Galatea Bio, you will lead the launch of a new research project from inception to completion, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met on time. You will also be responsible for developing the internal knowledge base and establishing the infrastructure for future research projects, including obtaining IRB approvals and managing documentation. This role requires effective communication and coordination among study participants, research staff, and stakeholders to ensure the success of the studies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor sample and data flow for two new Miami-based studies and coordinate with the ex-US team for an ongoing study in Colombia.
  • Scope out potential project risks and incorporate efforts to minimize issues effectively.
  • Coordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables for both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to perform intake assessments and manage data collection.
  • Maintain an overview of inventory equipment and supplies at research sites.
  • Enhance and take ownership of the repository of study files, including regulatory binders and source documentation.
  • Conduct regular updates on project milestones and performance metrics, including patient onboarding and data deposition rates.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of clinical research coordination experience and/or recruitment of individuals into research studies.
  • Strong planning and project management skills with a natural ability to influence collaboration.
  • Practical experience within a Contract Research Organization or as part of a multi-site Clinical Study.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient with clinical study software, such as REDCap, ClinCapture, Castor, viedoc, etc.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • CITI certifications and practical experience with IRBs are a major plus.
