About the position

The Clinical Dietitian for the Pediatric Multi-Specialty IU North Outpatient Clinic is responsible for providing optimal nutrition care for pediatric outpatients. This role involves utilizing the Nutrition Care Process in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, intervene, and monitor nutrition for patients. The position also includes planning and implementing individualized nutrition education, precepting dietetics students, and managing dietary orders including tube feedings.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal nutrition care for pediatric outpatients in multi-specialty clinics.
• Utilize the Nutrition Care Process for nutritional assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition education for patients.
• Precept dietetics and other health professional students.
• Independently order diets, supplements, and tube feedings as approved by Medical Staff Office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) in Indiana within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to develop medical care plans.
