About the position

The Clinical Director at Northwest Regional Council (NWRC) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management of the agency's clinical programs across multiple counties. This role involves promoting a team-oriented approach to service delivery, coordinating with various organizations, and contributing to agency-wide planning and budget development. The Clinical Director will oversee direct services and provide strategic direction for contracted providers, ensuring high-quality care for clients facing complex health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management of NWRC's clinical programs.
  • Promote a team-oriented approach to service provision.
  • Coordinate with local, regional, and state organizations on Care Coordination and Behavioral Health issues.
  • Oversee NWRC's direct services and provide strategic direction for contracted providers.
  • Participate in agency-wide planning, budget development, and problem-solving as a member of the Management Team.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral or Health Sciences or related field.
  • Two years of experience providing direct human services to clients, preferably in a community setting.
  • Three years' experience supervising and managing within social, health, and/or human services field, preferably in long-term services and supports, behavioral health, or care coordination.
  • Experience working within Medicaid systems preferred.
  • Valid, unencumbered, current credential issued by the Department of Health as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or equivalent.
  • Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) preferred.
  • Completion of clinical supervision training preferred; required within one year of hire.
  • Must have a valid Washington State driver's license, a vehicle available for work-related travel, and appropriate liability insurance.
