About the position

The Clinical Director at ABC Behavior in Fairfax, VA is responsible for leading and overseeing clinical operations, mentoring staff, and expanding services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients aged 1-21 with developmental disabilities through evidence-based treatment plans. The Clinical Director will guide a team of BCBAs and BCaBAs, ensuring clinical excellence and compliance with insurance and regulatory standards while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of BCBAs and BCaBAs through consultations and case reviews.
• Navigate insurance authorizations to maximize client benefits and ensure compliance.
• Conduct staff training initiatives to keep the team updated on ABA practices.
• Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to ethical standards and regulations.
• Mentor new BCBAs to help them specialize in their areas of interest.
• Build partnerships with local schools and services to enhance community engagement.
• Organize team-building events to promote workplace well-being.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
• BCBA or BCBA-D certification.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ABA therapy insurance processes.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in clinical consulting and staff training.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing and overseeing systems that enhance service delivery.
• Ability to work 3-4 days in-clinic.
