About the position

The Clinical Educator is responsible for the clinical training of various clinical staff positions within the Three Rivers Medical Group (TRMG). This role involves conducting training sessions, assessing staff needs, and implementing training plans to ensure quality care is provided. The Clinical Educator serves as a resource for staff and collaborates with leadership to facilitate operational improvements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical training for RN/LPN/CMA/RMA/CCMA/CCA and other clinical positions in TRMG.
• Facilitate needs analysis for staff to identify educational needs and develop training programs.
• Plan, design, and coordinate training and education programs to meet customer needs.
• Design and update lesson plans, lectures, tests, and instructional materials to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor staff progress and performance, providing instruction and counseling as necessary.
• Serve as an educational resource for various departments and committees.
• Maintain necessary certifications and professional knowledge in areas of responsibility.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the department.
• Participate in community activities as requested.

Requirements

• Valid LPN license or equivalent nursing license in Michigan.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Three years of previous nursing experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in a staff educator and trainer role preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current training techniques and programs.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting training needs analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification as a CPR Instructor.
• Certification as TB Instructor/Validator.
• Experience with technology-based training solutions.
